How Many Visitors Does Canada Get a Year


Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world and it also has the largest tourism industry which makes Canada more attractive then any other country. There are four largest metropolitan areas, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Ottawa, well known for their culture, diversity, as well as the many national parks and historic sites.




Estimates of Visitors to Canada Each Year

In Year 2012

Over 16.5 Million visitors visited Canada, and Canada earned around US$17.4 billion in international tourism receipts to the economy. Domestic and international tourism contributes 1% of Canada's total GDP, which is not a small amount and it creates 309,000 jobs in the country


In Year 2013

Over 17.7 Million visitors visited Canada, and it earned around US$20.1 billion in international tourism receipts to the economy.

So by using 2 year statistics we can say that on average almost 17.1 Million Tourists visit Canada each year so now you have little knowledge about visitors visit each year.
